시놉시스 Synopsis
다람쥐 집 건너편에 청설모가 이사 온다. 자신과 닮은 작은 크기의 청설모와 친해지고 싶은 다람쥐는 다가가 선물을 내민다. 하지만 청설모는 알 수 없는 표정으로 퉁명스럽기만 하다. 그럼에도 다람쥐는 계속해서 자신의 마음을 표현한다.
The Chipmunk learns that the Squirrel is moving in across from its home. Curious and excited to befriend the newcomer, the Chipmunk approaches with a small gift. But the Squirrel only responds with an unreadable expression and a curt attitude. Still, the Chipmunk doesn’t give up and keeps finding ways to express its feelings.
기획 의도 Note
닮음과 다름에 대한 이야기를 들려주기 위해 다람쥐와 청설모를 주인공으로 데려왔습니다. 때로 우리는 어떤 사람을 언뜻 보고 성격을 예상하지만 실은 전혀 다른 성격의 인물일 때가 있습니다. 또 때론 어떤 인물의 행동을 자신만의 기준으로 판단하여 숨겨진 진심을 오해하기도 합니다. 우린 닮았지만 제법 다를 수도 있고, 달라 보이지만 꽤 닮아 있을 수도 있습니다.
I chose the Chipmunk and the Squirrel as the main characters to tell a story about similarities and differences. Sometimes, we assume a person’s personality based on first impressions, only to realize later that they are entirely different from what we expected. Other times, we judge someone's actions by our own standards and end up misunderstanding their true intentions. We may look alike yet be quite different, or appear different but share more similarities than we realize.
